This antique silverplate teaspoon is in the desirable Romanesque pattern by 1847 Rogers Bros XII, first introduced in 1898. Known for its bold Art Nouveau styling and architectural scrollwork, Romanesque remains a favorite among collectors and those seeking quality replacement flatware.

The spoon measures approximately 5¾ inches long and retains a bright silver shine, having been lightly polished to accurately show condition. The pattern details remain crisp and well defined.

Condition:
This teaspoon is in very good antique condition. There are one or two small spots consistent with age and silverplate use, as well as a tiny rough spot on the edge of the bowl (please see photos). No bends or repairs noted. Overall, it presents very nicely and displays beautifully.
