Antique Carlsbad Fan-Shaped Porcelain Dish
Antique Carlsbad Fan-Shaped Porcelain Dish
A beautiful antique porcelain fan-shaped dish produced in Carlsbad, Austria, and marked BFHS (Bauer, Fischer & Herold). Based on the maker’s mark, this piece dates to circa 1897–1907, placing it firmly in the late Victorian / early Edwardian period.
This elegant dish features a scalloped fan form with finely molded porcelain detailing, highlighted by a soft green and yellow floral motif and delicate gold gilding. The quality of the porcelain and the crisp molded decoration reflect the high standards associated with Carlsbad production at the turn of the 20th century.
