Vintage Arthur Garratt Portrait Prints — Boy & Girl, 1930s–1940s, Gilded Frames

A charming matching pair of vintage portrait prints by artist Arthur Garratt, featuring the beloved “Skippy” boy and girl illustrations. These sweet pastel-style portraits date to the 1930s–1940s and capture the soft, nostalgic style that made Garratt’s work popular for nursery and children’s décor.

Both prints are housed in gold-toned wooden frames with a gilded finish and include attached hanging rings on the back for easy display. One frame retains the marking “C & A Richards, Boston, Mass.” on the back, while the other has a remnant of the original sticker, indicating a similar origin.

The prints and frames are in very good vintage condition. There is some wear to the frames, including scratching along the top edge, possibly from contact with another hanging frame over time (see photos). The artwork itself displays beautifully with lovely soft pastel tones.
