Sarreguemines French Military Plate

This plate is one of a series of French military plates made by Sarreguemines. Each plate has a very handsomely detailed illustration in the center surrounded by a boarder featuring flags and a graphic design. This plate features a Calvary horse being groomed and is 7 inches in diameter.

This plate displays nicely and will look great hanging on a wall or sitting on a desk. It does have a couple of flea bites on the edge and a very thin light crack in the center. The crack is photographed in the picture where the pointer is pointing near the manufacture's mark. It is not very visible unless the plate is damp.
